This tour visits the main filming locations in the Wellington area
including Helm’s Deep, Minas Tirith, The River Anduin, The Gardens of Isengard, and Rivendell. Come aboard our Mercedes Benz Unimog which was previously owned by Peter
Jackson’s film company ‘Three Foot Six’ and was used during the filming of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ Trilogy. The tour guide will use a commentary which has
been written using the experiences of three ‘Lord of the Rings’ actors. This enables glimpses of ‘behind the scenes’ action. There are some funny stories and
antics you won’t find in the guide books! You don’t have to be a LOTR fan to enjoy! with the beautiful scenery and amusing stories this tour has wide appeal
