CAT Tours (Capital Adventure Tours Ltd) is a licensed passenger service company operating scenic tours around Wellington aboard our 4WD Mercedes Benz Unimog. Wellington's distinctive geography ensures easy and quick access to wilderness areas. A real bonus for our capital city!

Our vehicle was previously owned by Three Foot Six Ltd (Peter Jackson's film company) and was used for the filming of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.

Combine our unique vehicle with spectacular scenery. All tours are tailored to suit your group. From a 3 hour tour with coffee and muffins through to a day out with a picnic lunch, we can help you plan a memorable outing. Entertain staff, clients, family and friends. An ideal activity for up to 18 passengers, we regularly host corporate groups, conference groups and cruise ship passengers. We no longer operate a timetable of tours, we book private charters for groups only.

Our Tours offer great photographic opportunities and show clients some of the most dramatic scenery and locations that Wellington has to offer.
